  • Giraffes’ horns aren’t attached to their skull to avoid injury at birth. They only fuse with the skull later in life.
  • There are 4 different species of giraffe.
  • A giraffe’s heart weighs about 25 pounds because it is has to be able to pump blood all the way to it’s brain.
